VBM’s new campaign is the starting point for the company’s repositioning on the professional coffee machine market. It will be obvious to visitors that the concept of the new communications campaign, produced by Espresso Comunicazione and to be rolled out across various media between now and 2021, has been developed in parallel with the design of the company’s new products. VBM’s focus on maximising the user experience is told through its new videos, which illustrate the daily challenges faced by bartenders.
The redesign has extended to the new Domobar, a home espresso machine with the technology and reliability of its professional counterparts.
The small one-group machine has a new look and new technology, and it comes in three models and seven versions.
Machines for every need
Domobar is a compact entry-level machine – 22.5 cm wide and 41.5 cm deep – small enough to fit into a confined space. It comes in two versions, analogue and digital: the digital version has an OLED display with a single interface for all settings, including the dispensing temperature.
Domobar Junior, the mid-range model, is ideal if you want the right balance between espresso dispensing and milk frothing. The two versions have HX heat exchanger technology: analogue and digital. With the digital version, you simply adjust the dispensing temperature to save on energy bills by reducing the water temperature when the machine is idle (ECO mode).
Domobar Super offers high performance and will satisfy the desire to experiment of even the most demanding coffee connoisseur. The analogue version comes with HX heat exchanger technology; both the digital and electronic versions have DualBoiler technology: one boiler extracts the espresso while the other dispenses the steam and hot water. The 3.5″ touch display controls all the machine’s settings, so you can accurately adjust the pressure profile and water temperature while dispensing. The extraction indicator also checks for under- or over-extraction and highlights any faults.

Why decide? The choice of colour is important when it comes to coordinating the machine with the ambience. If you’re refurbishing or changing colour scheme, simply take off Domobar’s side panels and replace them with new colours (white, black, beige or traditional steel): the panels are fixed with magnets.
Dishwasher-safe. The new drip trays are made from synthetic material, which is lighter and easier to handle: no more scratches and bumps on the corners of metal trays. The new trays are scratchproof, so they can be washed in the dishwasher.
Water no problem. A level sensor is used to check the water level in the tank, while an LED signals when it’s time to refill. The liquid in the drip tray is also under control: the float tracks the maximum level, indicating when the overflow level has been reached.
No effort. The new Domobar features remodelled ergonomic knobs and levers with a sophisticated design, so you can control the flow of hot water and steam accurately, with no effort.
